Our Promise at NLO is to spread the Gospel and teach the Word of the Lord. God’s purpose for our lives is to worship Him, fulfill our roles in the Church, and be the light as we serve our community.

Our History

NLO is an Oasis of Love    

We started in August 1988 as New Life Trinity Assembly (NLTA) and were licensed by Independent Assemblies in Moore Oklahoma. As we grew and expanded our ministry, we changed our name to New Life Outreach in July 2002. 

We Believe

  • The Bible is the true Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15-17) 
  • There is only one eternal God who is the Creator of all things (1 John 5:7)
  • God Intends for us to live holy and fruitful lives so we must be baptized in water and filled with the Holy Spirit.  
  • The Lord Jesus Christ, as both God and man, is the only one who can reconcile us to God. (Ephesians 2:8; Romans 10:8-10, Psalms 103:1-3)  
  • In order to receive forgiveness and the “New Birth” we must: Repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and Submit to His will for our lives 
  • Sin has separated each of us from God (Romans 5:12-21) 
  • In the Baptism of The Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:4) 
  • Spiritual gifts such as tongues, miracles, gifts of healing, word of wisdom, prophecy, and more are available to believers by way of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:7-11)  
  • God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose in our lives (1 Timothy 6:11-13) 
  • God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives, in order to help others more effectively (3 John 2; Romans 12:1-2) 
  • Our eternal destination of either Heaven or Hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.  
  • The Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again, as He has promised (1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

MEET OUR PASTORS

Senior Pastors

Walter & Teresa Gorman

Walter & Teresa Gorman became Senior Pastors in September 2000, after serving under Walter Gorman Sr, who started the church in 1988. Raised in the Assembly of God church, serving as Youth Pastors, Ministry of Helps, Elders, and Assistant Pastors, Walter & Teresa have hearts for helping people grow in the Word of God. 

Associate Pastors

Mike & Tracy Apple

Mike and Tracy Apple became Associate Pastors on October 16, 2022.  Mike and Tracy have served in ministry of helps in almost every department of the church.

Mike is an elder and right-hand man to Pastor.

Tracy teaches on Wednesday nights and also ministers to the women in the Yell County Jail.
